My path

My path to my desired profession was long and circuitous. Despite the fact that I felt an interest in the human soul and my mission in life in this direction very early, my path led me via the study of international relations and a Master’s degree at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Executive MBA post-graduate studies in economics and management at Cotrugli Business School in Zagreb. Most recently, I have passed through requalification in the basics of psychotherapy, Postgraduate study of Psychotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana and I completed the studies for international Jungian analyst at the IAAP in Zurich. I further upgraded my knowledge in the field of psychotherapy for children and adolescents and I finished a programme to become a Jungian coach.

Professional experiences, too, have led me through the diplomatic service at the Foreign Office and abroad, and they have led me to international trade, where I had the opportunity to enrich my personal and professional knowledge and skills in cooperation with various nations around the world, while learning about their culture and traditions. Finally, my focus is based on individual encounters with people in private psychotherapeutic practice in Radovljica and at the Clinic of the Faculty of Psychotherapeutic Science of the University of Sigmund Freud in Ljubljana - SFU, where I occasionally give lectures in basics of Jungian analytical psychology.

I completed international studies for Jungian Analyst by passing the final exam at the IAAP International Association for Analytical Psychology in Zurich in 2017. I am a member of the Association of Psychotherapists of Slovenia ZPSI and for many years now I have been an active member of the Slovenian Association for Analytical Psychology SZAP. In my work I tend to individual psychotherapy with adults, children and adolescence, but I work also with couples and groups.

My mentor, accompanying my individual experience of analytical psychology, is Jožef Magdič, MD, psychiatrist, accredited Jungian Analyst and accredited supervisor of analytical psychology by the International Association of Analytical Psychology in Zurich (IAAP). The supervision of my work has been carried out by several supervisors: Roman Korenjak, a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, group analyst and supervisor at ZPSI, Mrs. Nicoletta Lucatelli, accredited Jungian Analyst and accredited supervisor at the International Association of Analytical Psychology in Zurich (IAAP), Stefano Carta, accredited Jungian Analyst and accredited supervisor at the International Association of Analytical Psychology in Zurich (IAAP), an IAAP liaison officer for Slovenian Jungian Development Group and Tine Papič, accredited Jungian Analyst and accredited supervisor at the International Association of Analytical Psychology in Zurich (IAAP).

In my work I am committed to the Code of Ethics of the Association of Psychotherapists Slovenia, which defines the main principles of ethical conduct and serves as an ethical guide for my work, since only in this way can I contribute theoretically or practically to the healing and self-realization of a person who comes to my office, so that he or she can best manage all aspects of his or her life. I am also committed to the ethical code of the individual members of the International Association for Analytical Psychology IAAP (Code of Ethics for IAAP Individual Members).
