When shall we look for help?

when experiencing feelings of helplessness, fear, anxiety, panic, feelings of loneliness or alienation

when facing problems with experiencing, expressing and controlling our emotions

when coping with doubts about our own value, the ability to carry out our objectives; in cases of lacking self-confidence or self-esteem

in cases of dissatisfaction in relationships, frequent conflicts, infidelity, difficulties in obtaining and maintaining relationships

when we witness distress resulting from sexual, emotional or physical abuse

in cases of overburdening, burnout, the inability to cope with stress, and being unable to relax

The acknowledgement that we need help is quite often the very first step towards a solution. The reasons for looking for help may be very different:

when we have been feeling lost and unfulfilled; when witnessing inner emptiness and a lack of meaning in terms of our existence and our objectives; when depressed or chronically dissatisfied with our lives

in cases of dependence on alcohol, drugs, gambling, relationships, food or sex

when we are facing psychological distress due to separation, the loss of a loved one, or a traumatic experience

when we feel physical pain, for which we do not know the physical cause

when having feelings of dissatisfaction with our appearance and difficulties in accepting our own body
